Jags and Vines

On the 4th October, JCSNE will be holding their annual Fall driving tour in the NW corner of Connecticut, combined with visits to a couple of local vineyards and lunch in the  village of Riverton.  The plan is to meet at the Commuter Parking Lot at Exit 44 in Torrington at 10:30am, before heading to our first stop, the Jerram Winery in New Hartford.

From there we plan to head North to Riverton, going the scenic route, through the fall foliage around Berkhamstead reservoir. After a leisurely lunch at Sweet Peas Restaurant in Riverton we will head South to Sunset Meadows Vineyard in Goshen. For those who'd like to add a final vineyard to their tally, we will head to the nearby Haight Brown Vineyards in Litchfield.

Click here to see the route we plan to take, but we may change this slightly depending on the scenery and weather.

We will send out final details and a map to all who have registered a couple of days before.

Hope to see you all there before you hide your cars away for the winter!
