Before I head to Harbor Freight, I was wondering if any JCSNE members have a used, heavy duty rotating engine stand they no longer need?
Looking for something that::
- At least 1,500 lb max weight (2,000lb preferred)
- 4 wheels (at least) - preferably 'H' shaped base for stability, definitely NOT 'T' based
- Prefer a 'geared' rotating head (where you turn a geared handle to slowly spin the motor.
Harbor freight has a pretty decent 2,000lb stand, that will do at a pinch but it doesn't have the geared head - which makes it a lot easier if working alone in the garage, so thought I'd ask here first.
